a diverse 4-wheel drive: My Ineos Grenadier Journey
Sir Jim Radcliffe was interviewed a few years ago about his plan to develop a body on frame, dyed in the wool, four wheel vehicle. His reasons resonated with me because of my own experiences with the type of four-wheeled vehicles that have become lifestyle vehicles packed with electronics to control essential systems especially for off road driving but without the design principles.
I recently took delivery of my Grenadier from the team at Bowker Ribble Valley. It is everything I believed it would be and it is definitely built on purpose whilst being a great motorway cruiser with plenty of room (elbow) and of absolutely solid construction. Bowker deliver such a high standard of knowledge and support that I can’t praise the whole team enough for providing me with absolute confidence in the whole package from purchase to service.
As for the Grenadier, well I now have confidence that the next time I’m going to service my own companies equipment almost 5 miles off road in Northern Scotland during winter It won’t let me down.
